Heaven.- .Heaven, a jazz rock group from Portsmouth, burst forth onto the British rock scene when they appeared at the Isle of Wight festival in 1970. .Being managed by the festival presenter Rikki Farr, they soon secured a recording deal with CBS Records, who signed them up for a large advance. They supported bands such as Jethro Tull, Deep Purple, The Idle Race and Juicy Lucy. The band then split, with three of the original members retaining the name and joining with others. They later had a single and an album released on CBS Records
