Paul Hoffert of Lighthouse.- .On the advice of a musical friend, Richie Havens - who also appeared at the Isle of Wight in 1970 - Lighthouse took their first demo to MGM Records in New York, and within just two days they were able to secure a manager. Keyboard player Paul Hoffert, seen here, can still be seen touring round Canada with the group.
