Rory Gallagher - Taste .-.Taste (originally "The Taste") were formed in Cork, Ireland in August 1966, as a trio led by Rory Gallagher, and after a few changes to the line-up eventually signed up to Polydor Records. .At the IOW festival the band were called back for an incredible seven encores, but later that year the band broke up due to differences with Gallagher. .Rory went on to pursue a significant successful solo career before his untimely death in 1995
