-
Keith Emerson (two Hammond organs and one £3000 prototype Moog synthesiser), Greg Lake (bass and vocals) and Carl Palmer (drums), made their live debut as E.L.P here, after only one warm-up gig. Their set bravely consisted of firing two unloaded cannons at some point, one of which still managed to blow the glasses off an unlucky spectator.
