Gary Farr.- .Son of 1930s' Boxing Champion Tommy, and brother of the festival's presenter Rikki, Gary started his career in a band called the T-Bones in the 1960s. ..At the time of the festival he was going solo but working on projects with members of "Mighty Baby", another band playing that year. ..He had more success across the water than in the UK, however, so by 1973 he had begun recording over in the States instead.
